Pastor Thomas Heyn

Pastor Heyn grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he worked a year as a research technician, then decided to return to school to prepare for the ministry. He attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minnesota to study Greek and Hebrew before going to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Thiensville, Wisconsin.

After graduation from the seminary, Pastor Heyn served congregations in Willoughby, Ohio ( a suburb of Cleveland); Bogotá, Colombia; Madison, Wisconsin; and El Paso, Texas. Pastor Heyn has served Western Koshkonong since the summer of 2006.

Pastor Heyn and his wife, LaRue, have been blessed with nine children and three grandchildren. He and his family consider it a privilege to serve Western Koshkonong Lutheran Church and to share its message of forgiveness and salvation with the community.
