Rev. Trent Saari
Trent Saari graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1995. After working various secular jobs, he earned his B.A. in Theological Languages from Concordia University Wisconsin (Mequon, WI) in 2006. He earned his M.Div. from Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary where he graduated in 2010.
After completing a year of vicarage at Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Lake Havasu City (AZ), he received his first divine call to serve at Our Saviour in Lake Havasu (2010). During his time at Our Saviour, in addition to his normal pastoral duties, he also served a preaching station across town from the main church, and conducted services at several local nursing home/assisted living facilities. While in Lake Havasu, he also worked with a Christian Day School (Our Saviour Lutheran School).
In February of 2015, he was installed as pastor of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (Yelm, WA), and Lakewood Lutheran Church (Lakewood, WA). In Washington, he regularly conducted worship at a local assisted living facility and also worked with another Christian Day School (Lakewood Lutheran School).
He accepted the call to serve as pastor of Western Koshkonong Lutheran Church in 2019.
Rev. Saari has had the opportunity to preach and lead devotions for Evergreen Lutheran High School (Tacoma, WA), various pastoral conferences, and Synod Convention. He served a term on the Synod’s Board for Education. He has written and delivered essays for various ELS circuit winkels, regional pastoral conferences, and GPC (General Pastoral Conference). He has also contributed numerous articles for the Synod’s publication, The Lutheran Sentinal.
Trent married his wife Adrienne (Andie) in 2003. They have one daughter, Hannah (born in 2006). In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, running, and fishing.
